AI Cheat Codes to Win the Day

Win tomorrow with AI

You don't need to spend hours to learn AI. You just need one win to boost your confidence.

Short videos. Copy and paste prompts. The exact tools I use. Start with one small win, and you'll start to see where AI can help you everywhere.

For your small business or your everyday life.
Why trust this

I've helped people go from emails that got ignored to email sequences that bring in more clients and more money, written faster than they thought possible. Even the ones with a VA doing it were stuck. The fix wasn't fancy writing. It was asking the right questions first to pull the good stuff out.

Every prompt in here works the same way. It asks you the right questions first. That's the whole trick.

Get one win first

If you've ever thought...

You're not alone. The truth is, AI isn't difficult. Most people just don't know where to start. This guide will help you get one quick win so you can see what AI is actually capable of.

Step 1

Think about tomorrow

Before opening AI, ask yourself one simple question: what would make tomorrow easier? Maybe you want to...

Save timeFind more customersWrite an email Figure out dinnerOrganize your calendarPlan a trip Understand something confusingMake a difficult decisionGet unstuck

Whatever your answer is, that's where AI can help.

Step 2

There are two ways to talk to AI: tell it, or ask it to help

Both start the same way, with something you want. The difference is how much you hand the AI. Watch the same person, same dinner, two ways.

Same dinner. Two ways.
Tell it · the quick way
"I want to make dinner tonight."
You get a fast, generic answer. Fine when you just need something quick.
Ask it to help · the way that wins
"I need help making dinner. Can you go over what's in my pantry with me and help me create something phenomenal out of what I actually have? Help me figure out dinner tonight."
It works with you. It uses what you've got. You end up with something you'll actually make.

Same person. Same dinner. The one on the right just gave AI a way in. That's the whole difference between a random answer and one that fits your life.

One simple tip: the better AI understands your situation, the better it can help. If you don't know what information to give it, simply say: "Please ask me questions one at a time until you have enough information to help me." That one sentence will dramatically improve almost every conversation you have with AI.
Step 3

Get your first win

Copy and paste this into ChatGPT.

Your first winShow me where AI can help me
I'm new to AI, and I'm not sure how it can help me yet. Please ask me questions one at a time about my work, my daily life, and what I'm trying to accomplish. As soon as you discover one place where AI could save me time, reduce stress, or help me move faster, stop asking questions and explain it in simple language. Then give me one example of how AI could help with that task. Don't overwhelm me. Help me get one quick win.
You walk away with: one clear place AI can help you this week.
Step 4

Try one of these

🍽 Figure out dinner❤ Plan a date night 📧 Write an email💰 Build a simple budget 🎉 Find something fun this weekend

Choose one and ask AI to help. If you're not sure what to tell it, ask AI to ask you questions first. Here's the dinner one, ready to go.

Try itLet AI help with dinner
You are a pro chef, like Martha Stewart for something special, or Rachael Ray for something quick. I need help deciding what to make for dinner tonight. Please ask me questions one at a time so you can help me make something I'll actually enjoy. Ask what food I have at home, any dietary needs, how much time I have, and how many people I'm feeding. When you have enough, create a real recipe from what I have, with simple steps. Give me one main idea and one backup. If I don't like them, ask me a few more questions and try again.
You walk away with: dinner decided, in about two minutes.
Remember this: AI isn't about having the perfect prompt. It's about starting the conversation. You don't need to know everything. You just need one win. Because once AI helps you solve one real problem, you'll start seeing opportunities to use it everywhere.

Module 02

Not sure which tool? Ask.

There are a lot of AI tools out there. Some are great. Some are junk. This prompt helps you find the right one for you. First it asks about your problem. Then it only picks from the good tools above, and it tells you when to use Claude versus ChatGPT.

Cheat codeFind the right tool for me
You are an independent AI tool advisor for normal people, not a salesperson. Help me pick the simplest tool that solves my real problem at a price I can justify. Do not recommend anything yet. Ask me these one at a time, and wait for my answer each time: 1. Is this for business or personal? 2. What are you trying to do, improve, or fix? 3. Why is it a problem right now? 4. How often will you do this? 5. How much are you okay spending? Ask one more question only if something important is missing, like privacy, my devices, team size, or tools I already have. When you think you understand, repeat my problem back in three short sentences and ask me to confirm or fix it. Do not recommend anything until I confirm. After I confirm, choose from THIS list only: - Claude: careful thinking, important writing, complex work - ChatGPT: flexible everyday help, writing, planning - Perplexity: current research that needs real sources - Wispr Flow: speaking instead of typing - Granola: meeting and call notes - Canva: graphics and visual content Check the tool's official site for current pricing before you answer. Do not trust sponsored rankings or random articles. Pick only from the list above. Recommend one tool to start. If two are close, name the runner up and say why your pick wins. If it is Claude versus ChatGPT, explain the difference in plain words. Give me: the one tool to start with, why it fits me, whether the free version is enough, and the first useful thing to do with it. Keep it simple. One tool, not five.
You walk away with: the one right tool to start with, and why.
Module 03

How AI helps you win faster

Here is the whole trick. Tell AI what's going on, or let it ask you. Then it can really help. These prompts are the ones you'll use again and again. Each one asks you questions first, so the answer is actually good.

Do these two together. Run "Make it sound like me" first. It builds your My Voice Sheet. Then paste that sheet into "Reply in my voice" below, and every email sounds like you.

Step 1Make it sound like me
You are a pro ghostwriter who nails anyone's voice. Here are a few things I've written: [paste 2 to 3 real emails, posts, or messages] Study them, but don't build my sheet yet. Interview me one question at a time, waiting for each answer, to learn: who I usually write to, how I sound with friends versus clients, phrases I use, words I hate, how direct I am, whether I use humor, how I open and close, how long my messages run, and what I never want to sound like. When you think you've got me, sum up my voice in a short paragraph and ask me to confirm or fix it. Only continue once I confirm. Then make me a one page sheet called My Voice Sheet, with: my tone, my usual length, how I open, how I close, phrases I use, things to avoid, how I change by audience, three short examples in my voice, and a final copy and paste line another AI can follow to sound like me. Don't make me sound more polished, formal, or corporate than I really am.
You walk away with: your My Voice Sheet, built once and reused for every email.
Step 2Reply in my voice
You are my email reply assistant, and you write in my voice. First, paste My Voice Sheet from "Make it sound like me" above, so this sounds like me: [paste My Voice Sheet here] Then, when I paste an email: - If it is simple, write the reply right away. - If it is tricky, sensitive, or important, ask me only what you need, one question at a time: what outcome I want, my relationship with the sender, what I will and will not agree to, any deadline, and how warm or firm to be. Then repeat back what the reply needs to do, and ask me to confirm before you write it. Then write the reply in my voice. Add a subject line only if it is a new email. Give me one recommended version, and a slightly firmer version when it helps. Rules: do not invent facts, dates, or promises. Do not agree to anything I did not say I would. Keep it as short as it needs to be. No fake warmth, no jargon, no needless apologies. Always make the next step clear.
You walk away with: a ready to send reply that sounds like you, not a robot.
Cheat codeClear your head (brain dump)
You are a calm, practical thought organizer. I'm going to dump everything on my mind. Tasks, worries, ideas, all of it. It will be messy: [talk it out or paste it here] Read all of it first. Ask a question only if something is too unclear to sort, one at a time. Don't question every item. When you think you understand, tell me in a short summary what's taking up the most space in my head, and ask me to confirm or fix it. Only sort it after I confirm. Then: 1. Sort everything into four lists: Do today, Do this week, Can wait, Let go of. 2. Pick the 3 things that matter most today. 3. Give me the smallest first step for each of those 3. Rules: don't add tasks I didn't say. Don't turn every worry into a task. Don't invent deadlines, but point out a real one if I mentioned it. Keep my meaning. Make the first steps small enough to start right now. Keep the answer short and calm.
You walk away with: a calm, sorted list and your first step.
Cheat codeHandle a hard conversation
You are a calm, thoughtful coach for hard conversations. Do not diagnose anyone, assume their motives, or automatically take my side. I need to have a hard conversation with [who is the person?]. Here's what's happening: [tell the whole story, messy is fine] Don't give advice yet. First, ask specific questions one at a time, waiting for each answer, to learn: what was actually said or done, what I think it means, what this person seems to care about, what I care about, what I'm afraid of, what I want out of the talk, and the boundary I need to hold. Also ask if there is any safety, job, money, or retaliation risk. When you think you understand, repeat back a short summary that keeps these separate: the known facts, my read on it, what I want, and my boundary. Ask me to confirm or fix it. Only continue once I confirm. Then give me: 1. The most likely reason they are acting this way, based only on what I told you. Label anything that is a guess. 2. A calm, natural way to say my side: a simple opening, what I saw, why it matters, what I'm asking for, and my boundary. 3. The one thing I should not say, and why it would make it worse. Sound like a real person, not a therapist or a training manual. Keep me kind without making me weak or apologetic about a fair boundary. If there is real danger, threats, or abuse, put my safety first and point me to proper support instead of a confrontation.
You walk away with: a calm script, and what not to say.
Module 04

When you feel stuck, open this

Save this one. It's the prompt to reach for when something is weighing on you and you can't tell what to do. It helps you find the real problem, name what you're feeling, and take one clear step.

Cheat codeHelp me get unstuck
You are a calm, honest coach who helps people get unstuck. Do not diagnose me, and do not just tell me what I want to hear. I feel stuck about [the thing], and I can't tell if it's the problem itself or how I feel about it. Here's what's going on: [tell it everything, messy is fine] Ask me gentle questions, one at a time, waiting for each answer, until you really understand what's happening and how I feel. Also ask what I've already tried, and what I'm afraid will happen if nothing changes. When you think you understand, repeat back a short summary that keeps these separate: what's actually happening, how I feel about it, and what I say I want. Ask me to confirm or fix it. Only continue once I confirm. Then help me see: 1. The real problem under this, and whether it's the situation or how I'm feeling about it. Label anything that's a guess. 2. What I'm really afraid of, or what I really want. 3. My real choices, honestly, including the ones I might be avoiding. Then help me pick one small next step I can take today. Be honest and kind. Don't rush me. If what I share sounds like real crisis or I might be in danger, gently point me to real human support instead of pushing me toward a next step.
You walk away with: the real problem named, and one clear step.
